Justin Wilson in ‘Critical Condition’ Following Pocono Crash

IndyCar driver Justin Wilson is currently in a ‘critical condition’ in hospital following his heavy crash at the recent ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway. The British driver sustained severe head injuries after being struck on the helmet by a piece of debris from Sage Karam’s Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet. Karam lost control of his car on the exit of Turn One and hit the outside wall at speed, leaving a trail of debris on the racing line. Wilson’s Andretti Autosports Honda then careered into the inside wall, where on-track medical staff were on hand to provide assistance.
