Alexander Rossi makes IndyCar switch with Andretti-Herta entry

Alexander Rossi will race for Andretti Autosport in this year's IndyCar series following the team's decision to merge its fourth car with Bryan Herta Autosport's #98 entry. Rossi was left without a seat in Formula 1 after Manor opted to sign Pascal Wehrlein and Rio Haryanto for the 2016 season, leaving the American driver to explore other options in both single seaters and endurance racing. Following the merger between Andretti and Bryan Herta Autosport for a fourth entry in IndyCar this year, Rossi has now secured the seat previously occupied by Gabby Chaves, and will make his debut in the series at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 13.
