INDYCAR: Rossi in frame for BHA seat

Alexander Rossi could be headed to IndyCar to drive the car run by new collaborators Bryan Herta Autosport and Andretti Autosport. After breaking the story of the Andretti-Herta link earlier on Thursday, RACER.com has learned that Rossi is the leading candidate to drive the No. 98 Dallara/Honda, and is on his way to Indianapolis for a seat fitting for next weekend's IndyCar test at Phoenix International Raceway. It was reported earlier Thursday that American Rossi had lost his bid for the second Manor F1 seat, which was the last vacant position on the 2016 Formula 1 grid.
