Daly gets Schmidt seat for Indianapolis

– Conor Daly will make a return to the Indianapolis 500 this year after signing a deal to race for Schmidt Peterson Motorsport.Daly finished in 22nd place on his debut at the event in 2013 and made only his second series start at Long Beach last weekend, where he claimed 17th position for Dale Coyne Racing.Daly, a GP3 race winner, will drive the No. 43 car alongside regulars James Hinchcliffe and James Jakes."I am ecstatic to partner with Schmidt Peterson Motorsport for the 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500," said Daly."I have had a great relationship with Sam Schmidt since driving for him in Indy Lights and I've always wanted a shot with his IndyCar Series team....
