IndyCar video: King makes series debut with ECR
Ed Carpenter Racing's Jordan King talks to Marshall Pruett about his Verizon IndyCar Series debut on Monday at Sonoma behind the wheel of the No.20 Chevy, which he'll drive at every road and street course in 2018. The Formula 2 veteran ended the day with the eighth-fastest lap in his black Dallara DW12, outpacing teammate Spencer Pigot, who was mired with braking and handling difficulties in the afternoon session. "Really good – new experience," the young Briton told RACER. "Slightly different way of working and doing things, but that's expected. I've driven for lots of different teams and everyone works in a slightly different way."
