Alexander Rossi secures unbelievable victory in frenetic 100th Indy 500

IndyCar rookie Alexander Rossi has won the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, becoming the 70th different winner of the event, after a frenetic final handful of laps which saw the lead change hands practically every lap. After six caution periods throughout the 200-lap race it all came down to the final ten laps, where fuel management became key to achieving track position. With five laps left Carlos Munoz led the race ahead of Josef Newgarden, however the duo required one final stop which gifted the lead to Rossi. The former Marussia Formula 1 driver miraculously clung on to the lead of the race for the final few laps, crossing the line +4.4 seconds clear of Munoz. Newgarden...
