Rosenqvist completes pole sweep at Hockenheim

Felix Rosenqvist secured the remaining two poles of this weekend’s European Formula 3 meeting at Hockenheim after dominating a wet second qualifying session. The veteran Swede was the man to beat for just about the entire session, beating Maximilian Gunther’s early benchmark by a whole second with a 1m52.319s. Rosenqvist then began carving chunks out of his own time in the following laps as conditions improved, going almost a second clear of closest rival Charles Leclerc with a 1m49.630s before the red flags were shown in response to George Russell getting stranded out on circuit.
