The Verizon IndyCar Series celebrated a popular first-time victory by one of its young American stars last weekend. Tennessee’s Josef Newgarden wielded his Chevy-powered CFH Racing entry with the conviction of a driver much older than what we’ve come to expect from a 24-year-old, and with the likes of three-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon and an on-form Graham Rahal hot on his heels, the kid never gave a hint that he felt the pressure bearing down in him.
