SCCA: Walker resigns as Pro Racing president

SCCA Pro Racing president Derrick Walker announced his resignation Wednesday from the Sports Car Club of America's for-profit subsidiary. He will remain until a replacement is found. Walker came on board last fall, tasked with getting the F4 United States Championship powered by Honda off the ground for its American debut, which took place in early July at Mid-Ohio. He also oversaw the sanctioning of Pirelli World Challenge, Trans-Am Series, the Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires and the Atlantic, F2000 and F1600 championship series.
