Pocono Raceway announces two-year IndyCar contract extension

Pocono Raceway will continue to play host to the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2017 and 2018 following the announcement of a contract extension on Wednesday. Pocono returned to the IndyCar calendar after 24 years away in 2013, before being upgraded to a 500-mile race for the following season.
