Remainder of Texas IndyCar race postponed until August

The remainder of the Texas Motor Speedway IndyCar event has been postponed until August 27, series organisers confirmed on Sunday. The event, which had already been postponed from Saturday to Sunday due to poor weather conditions, was red-flagged after 71 laps as a storm moved into the area, bringing with it heavy rain. It will now resume on lap 72 on August 27, with 176 laps remaining of the 248-lap race.
