Rahal tops evening practice at Texas

Graham Rahal put Honda top in the final practice before tomorrow evening’s race, as all 22 drivers hit the track to practice running in traffic with their race setups. The #15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing entry set a fastest lap of 213.935mph to beat Josef Newgarden’s Ed Carpenter Racing-Chevrolet by 0.6mph… which actually only equates to 0.0708sec at these speeds. Ryan Hunter-Reay appeared able to run anywhere on the track and for much of the 30-minute session was top with a 212.981mph on only the fourth of the 51 he turned.
