Castroneves fuming over lost opportunity for Indy win

Helio Castroneves says he was pleased with the speed of his Penske-Chevrolet car after a difficult month at IMS, and is therefore furious with J.R. Hildebrand over the collision that broke his left-rear bumper pod. The Brazilian had been aiming to match A.J. Foyt, Al Unser and Rick Mears by scoring his fourth Indianapolis 500 victory. He reached the front just before half distance and remained in the lead group thereafter. However, a charging J.R. Hildebrand tagged the left-rear bumper pod of the Penske machine with the front wing of his Ed Carpenter Racing-Chevrolet, as he was drafting past on lap 160.
