Andretti Autosport Still On Top of Day 3 as Hunter-Reay Goes Fastest
Andretti Autosport's strong form continued after a Day 2 rainout with Ryan Hunter-Reay turning the fastest lap of the day 228.202 mph. Teammate was second quickest, the only other driver to break the 228 mph barrier. WIll Power and Josef Newgarden ran third and fourth, Gabby Chaves enjoyed a strong day to end up in the session. The day also the first incident of the month, as Spencer Pigot broke loose and crashed exiting turn 1. While the impact heavily damaged the left side of the car, Pigot walked away unhurt. Practice resumes tomorrow for Day 4 before Fast Friday.
