IndyCar: Series begins search for Walker’s replacement
ABOVE: Mark Miles (left) and Derrick Walker News of Derrick Walker's departure from the Verizon IndyCar Series after next month's season finale won't come as a surprise to most within its paddock, but the timing of the decision has pushed series boss Mark Miles to start a search for the next President of Competition sooner than expected. The Scot tendered his resignation last Friday during a meeting with Miles, and with an owners' meeting scheduled tomorrow at Mid-Ohio, the series will seek input from its entrants.
