IndyCar: Daly confirmed for SPM's No. 5 for Detroit double-header

As RACER first reported on Monday, Conor Daly was the insider to fill in for the injured James Hinchcliffe in the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports No. 5 Arrow Electronics Honda for this weekend's double-header on the Detroot's Belle Isle, and the team has now confirmed Daly will indeed drive the car in the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit Presented by Quicken Loans. "I'm honored to have the opportunity to fill in for my close friend James this weekend," said Daly. "I definitely want to thank Arrow Electronics, Lucas Oil and all the team sponsors for giving me this shot.
