Indy 500: Live Trackside Report, Saturday

10:04 ET: Following morning rains, the track finally opened for practice in overcast, cooler conditions than Friday when speeds never climbed above 230mph. 10:06 ET: It only took Will Power three laps to hit 231.323mph in the Verizon Dallara-Chevrolet – top speed of the month and right at Ed Carpenter's pole speed of a year ago. Carpenter immediately ran 230 mph in three laps in his Fuzzy's Vodka Chevy. 10:08: Takuma Sato, in the ABC Dallara-Honda, reached 230mph in four laps, as did Tony Kanaan in the NTT Data Chevy of Chip Ganassi. 10:18: J.R. Hildebrand reached almost 233mph with a lap of 232.985 in the third CFH Chevrolet. Scott Dixon joined the fun at 231.640 mph in the Target...
