IndyCar: Power holds off Rahal for GP of Indy win
Will Power captured the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon but it was far from a cakewalk as Graham Rahal made him earn it. The defending IndyCar champion started on the pole, led 72 of 82 laps in his Verizon Dallara-Chevrolet and took the checkered flag 1.5 seconds ahead of Rahal's Steak & Shake Dallara-Honda. Considering how badly Honda was outclassed in qualifying (Chevy took the top 10 qualifying spots), Rahal's run was even more impressive but the second generation driver charged from his 17th starting spot to score his second straight runner-up finish.
