Scott Dixon has ended the opening practice session ahead of the Rainguard Water Sealers 600 around the Texas Motor Speedway fastest, after a delayed start to proceedings due to a rain delay. The start of the first practice session endured a significant delay after heavy rain struck the oval, forcing drivers to wait for the inclement weather to pass and the track to dry out before beginning their weekend.
