Every full-time Honda Verizon IndyCar Series driver took part in a pre-Long Beach test at Sonoma Raceway on Tuesday and of the 13 cars in attendance, St. Petersburg winner Sebastien Bourdais left with the fastest lap around the 2.2-mile road course. Bourdais' Dale Coyne Racing was fastest in the morning and afternoon sessions with the No. 18 Honda, and according to the Frenchman, a poor test at the Barber Motorsports Park road course in mid-March helped the team to arrive at the chassis setup changes that worked at Sonoma.
