MILLER: Replacing Derrick Walker

Page 1 of 2 Everyone seems to have a candidate to replace Derrick Walker as president of competition and operations for IndyCar, but Mark Miles has two paths he can take: stay with the status quo or divide Walker's responsibilities. The smart choice would be naming a new chief steward with actual Indy car driving experience to run Race Control while Walker's successor handles the day-to-day racing business, because with how it's structured now, Derrick does both. But, until IndyCar's witch hunt mentality changes, it really won't matter if Miles goes with one or two people because neither can succeed in the back-stabbing, finger-pointing, two-faced, self-serving and terminally unhappy...
