Power penalised for Fontana incident
– Will Power has been fined $25,000 and placed on probation for the remainder of the IndyCar season for pushing a track worker following his clash with Takuma Sato at last weekend's Fontana event.Power was deemed to have breached Rule 9.3.1 (Improper Conduct) and Rule 9.3.1.8 (Improper Conduct; using improper, profane, or disparaging language or gestures in reference to any official).The incident occurred when a marshal attempted to guide Power off track after the collision.Power later apologised via Twitter, saying: "I want to apologise to the safety guy – I shouldn't have pushed him and I'm sorry for that – I was extremely upset, but I know that's no excuse.
