Seems strange to be gathering stats and talking points for Fontana in June, but alas, here we are. It's no longer the finale, but with the season more the halfway completed the 500 mile race could elevate someone into the hunt, or by the same token take someone out of play. What to Expect Lots of talk about aerokits (won't it be nice to eventually get back to talking about how great the racing is?) Lots of discussions about tire wear, and probably some concerns about fitness and hydration, as this race has moved from a night race, to an afternoon race... in June... In California...
