Alonso commits to Indy 500 return, but not in 2018
Fernando Alonso is determined to race at the Indianapolis 500 again – but not in 2018. McLaren confirmed yesterday that the Spaniard will remain in Formula 1 with the team next year, ending long-standing speculation over his future. That speculation was fanned in no small part by Alonso himself, who repeatedly expressed concerns over the performance of the Honda power unit.
