Hurricane Harvey has impacted a number of people from the world of open-wheel and sports car racing that are regularly featured on RACER.com. Houston-based IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship team Risi Competizione and nearby AJ Foyt Racing in the city of Waller have faced challenges in returning to their respective shops due to air travel being shut down amid the heavy storms and widespread flooding. The Risi team, which competed last weekend in Virginia, has driven as close to their base as possible, but have not been able to access the Ferrari dealership that houses the No. 62 GT Le Mans program.
