Ganassi penalized for Road America infractions

Chip Ganassi Racing has two separate fines to pay and a penalty that will be served at the next round in Iowa for infractions stemming from race day at Road America.Kohler Grand Prix winner Scott Dixon's No. 9 entry received the harshest judgement by the Verizon IndyCar Series for actions during the Sunday morning warmup. Plagued with fuel pressure problems, the championship leader's team attempted to replicate the intermittent fuel cuts that made the New Zealander's engine run poorly by driving the car from the paddock to pit lane, which is prohibited per Rule 7.9.1.
