Vautier returns to IndyCar for Texas round
– Tristan Vautier will return to IndyCar for this weekend's round at the Texas Motor Speedway, driving the No. 18 car for Dale Coyne Racing.Regular racer Sébastien Bourdais sustained hip and pelvic injuries during a crash in qualifying for the Indianapolis 500, and was replaced for the event by James Davison.Ex-F1 driver Esteban Gutiérrez filled the breach for last weekend's double-header in Detroit, but his lack of oval experience ruled him out of competition for the upcoming Texas event.Vautier competed in IndyCar in 2013, stepping up as reigning Indy Lights champion, but was unable to secure a seat for the following campaign.The Frenchman returned for a partial season in 2015,...
