Wet weather delays Indy 500 qualifying

– Saturday's first qualifying session for the Indianapolis 500 has been placed on an indefinite delay, due to inclement weather at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.The first session, in which all 33 drivers conduct four-lap runs, with the average determining the order, was scheduled to begin at 11:00 local time.However, impending storms prompted the session to be postponed, and the anticipated deluge duly arrived at the circuit.A handful of drivers participated in free practice early in the morning prior to the arrival of wet weather, with the leading times not troubling Friday's best effort.Qualifying is due to run until 17:50 local time, with the positions at the end of the session...
