Gabby Chaves has ended practice six fastest for IndyCar rookie team Harding Racing, ahead of the first qualifying session for the Indianapolis 500. Although the sixth practice session was the last chance for drivers to finalise their preparations for the first part of qualifying later in the day, there was a limited amount of running due to far from perfect weather conditions. The start of the session was initially delayed slightly due to lingering mist around the 2.5-mile oval, before a brief caution period was caused due to moisture on the track later on.
