Shank balances 500 prep, WeatherTech title hunt

Michael Shank is about to achieve one of his biggest dreams by participating in the Indy 500 as an entrant. He's also preparing for a sleep-free month as his two-car factory Acura NSX GT3 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship program bookends the Indianapolis adventure. Starting with the May 4 race at Circuit of The Americas and ending with IMSA's visit to Detroit the week after the 500, the Ohio-based Michael Shank Racing team will spend May and early June switching back and forth between running the Nos. 86 and 93 NSX GT3s on its own and the No. 50 Dallara DW12-Honda it will field for Jack Harvey in partnership with Andretti Autosport.
