MILLER: One we've all been waiting for

It was a well-deserved and rewarding day for Josef Newgarden, Sarah Fisher, Andy O'Gara, Wink Hartman, Ed Carpenter, Jeremy Milless, Anton Julian and Tim Broyles, among others. It was also a badass race, with good, hard driving, bodacious passing all afternoon and a dramatic run to the checkered flag to entertain another good Alabama crowd and the NBCSN audience. But, most of all, it was a great result for the Verizon IndyCar series. And just about everyone in the paddock seemed to understand that reality following Newgarden's triumph in the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama.
