Gabby Chaves joins line-up for 2017 Race of Champions
IndyCar driver and 2014 Indy Lights champion Gabby Chaves has been announced as part of Team Colombia at next year’s Race of Champions. The 23-year-old will partner former F1 driver and fellow IndyCar racer Juan Pablo Montoya for the Nations Cup competition in Miami on the 22 January. Having claimed the Indy Lights title, Chaves picked up Rookie of the Year in IndyCar in 2015 and raced seven times in the series for Dale Coyne Racing this year. He joins the line-up for the next Race of Champions event, that includes big names like Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa, Jenson Button, Tom Kristensen and Petter Solberg.
