Michael Andretti keen to see Alexander Rossi back in 2017

Michael Andretti is eager for Alexander Rossi to continue in the Verizon IndyCar Series for a second season and to turn his back on his Formula 1 ambitions. Andretti looks likely to keep the link to Bryan Herta Autosport, which this year as Andretti Herta Autosport joined forces to propel Rossi to a surprise Indianapolis 500 victory, and he is sure Rossi would benefit from a second season in the series in 2017. Rossi has been linked with a move back into Formula 1 after racing five times for the Marussia Manor Racing squad in 2015, but the success at the Indianapolis 500 could see him stay in the United States, at least for another IndyCar season.
