INDYCAR: Strange points day eliminates contenders

By finishing in seventh place during Sunday's Indy Grand Prix at The Glen, championship leader Simon Pagenaud guaranteed the fight for the Verizon IndyCar Series title will become an all-Team Penske showdown at the Sonoma season finale in two weeks. The Frenchman, who now sits with 555 points, and 2015 championship winner Will Power (-43 points) are the only two drivers left with a chance to stand atop the field after a hard fought 16-race season.
