Dixon saves fuel, wins at Watkins Glen

– Scott Dixon won his 40th IndyCar race on Sunday, masterfully saving fuel in the closing laps at Watkins Glen as the entire field wondered whether they had enough petrol in their tanks to make it to the end.A late yellow forced the leaders to pit just on the outer cusp of their last pit window, requiring a majority of drivers to save fuel in the final laps. Some, like Dixon, were successful.
