Max Chilton: “It was just an absolutely crazy race”

Max Chilton endured a tough race at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, ending five laps adrift of race winner Graham Rahal after twice spinning in avoiding action as others crashed. The Chip Ganassi Racing driver was the last of those who finished due to the incidents after avoiding crashes for Ed Carpenter and for Mikhail Aleshin and Jack Hawksworth at the 1.5-mile oval. Chilton was struggling with the balance of his car throughout the race, but was happy to be able to see the chequered flag at the end of a crazy day.
