Chevrolet “pushing limits” with components

Chevrolet’s recent engine issues, that have caused two DNFs from leading runners over the last two races, are a result of Ilmor trying to retain its advantage over Honda. That’s the verdict of Paul Ray of Ilmor Engineering, which builds Chevrolet’s 2.2-liter twin-turbo IndyCar engine.
