Power beats Ganassi to pole at Road America

– Will Power calmly cruised to pole position at Road America on Saturday, staying 0.16s clear of the Ganassi duo of Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan. On the series' first trip to Elkhart Lake since 2007, Power was the first driver to leave the pits in Q3 and went unchallenged in the session, setting a pole time of 1:42.2105.Championship leader Simon Pagenaud was over 0.6s back in P4 ahead of Hélio Castroneves and the Fast Six's lone Honda runner, Graham Rahal.IndyCar's return to the heralded Road America course saw large crowds throughout the weekend, and in ideal conditions, cars were lapping the four-mile circuit in the 1:42s range (averaging over 140mph).
