Dixon: Watkins Glen “iconic”, Le Mans “surreal”

Scott Dixon has described the Watkins Glen International track as iconic and great, after squeezing in the Firestone test right after finishing third in the GTE Pro class at Le Mans. Addressing the media at Watkins Glen, Chip Ganassi Racing’s four-time IndyCar champion declared: “For me, Watkins Glen is a track where I feel comfortable but it's also the style of track that Target Chip Ganassi Racing has always been very good at. “I think we were working on four (straight) race wins here when I made a pretty big error under caution and spun out and took [Ryan] Briscoe out as well.
