Dixon predicts closer Texas race and tire degradation

Last year’s Texas Motor Speedway race winner is expecting a tougher fight as rival teams emulate Chip Ganassi Racing’s downforce setup that saw he and Tony Kanaan dominate the second half of the race. The reigning champion said: “Last year we had all the components to make it a really close race, but only three or four cars went with the downforce we did that made the cars really good and consistent on the long run.
