Franchitti on Chilton crash: "He doesn't know what the limit feels like"
Chip Ganassi Racing team advisor Dario Franchitti isn't placing blame on rookie Max Chilton for his accident this past weekend. Just six minutes into the pre-qualifying practice session on Saturday, Chilton lost control on corner exit of Turn 2, slamming the wall nose-first. During the Verizon Lunch with Legends atop the Pagoda, Motorsport.com asked three-time Indianapolis 500 champion Franchitti what the ex-Formula 1 driver was like after having his first shunt on the oval.
