Hunter-Reay leads first two hours of Wednesday practice

Andretti Autosport’s 2014 Indy 500 winner soared to the top of the charts within the first half hour of the day’s practice for the 100th Running of the Indy 500, but the session was halted when Spencer Pigot struck the wall in Turn 1. With ambient temperatures of 65degF and negligible wind, conditions were perfect when Hunter-Reay and teammate Carlos Munoz slipstreamed with each other to go top of the charts, 228.202mph grabbing P1 for Hunter-Reay, and 228.066 being the top speed of the Colombian, who is entering his fourth Indianapolis 500.
