Last year, Simon Pagenaud had the pace to prove worthy of a Team Penske seat, but didn’t have the results. Now he’s at the top of his game and the top of the championship table. Gil de Ferran told David Malsher why. Only a fool would have dismissed Simon Pagenaud’s chances of long-term success on the strength of his first season with Team Penske.
