INDYCAR: Chilton happy with late-race speed

Max Chilton says he was encouraged by his late-race speed at Barber, despite being stranded the bottom of the results sheet after spending the day wrestling a damaged car. The Ganassi rookie's starting position of 11th was his best to date on a road/street course, but his afternoon was compromised at the start when he was caught in the scramble to avoid the spinning car of teammate Scott Dixon at Turn 5, and lost several bits of bodywork.
