INDYCAR: Bourdais leads Barber FP1
KVSH Racing's Sebastien Bourdais topped opening practice for Sunday's Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park. The four-time Champ Car champion led the 75-minute session (1:07.3399) in his No. 11 Chevy ahead of A.J. Foyt Racing's Jack Hawksworth (1:07.4662) who is working with a new race engineer this weekend. Hawksworth's No. 41 Honda was followed by the Honda-powered Andretti Autosport car driven by Carlos Munoz (1:07.6138) and four more Hondas, giving the Japanese brand its most competitive start to an event this year.
