Frye replaces Walker in IndyCar role

– Jay Frye has been announced as the replacement for Derrick Walker as IndyCar's President of Competition and Operations.Walker stepped down from his role at the end of 2015, having overseen the introduction of aero kits, investment in Race Control technology and the arrival of new events.Frye will be responsible for all operations, competition and technical matters regarding IndyCar."I rose my hand because this is a great league with great momentum, and I couldn't be more proud or humbled to be part of it," Frye said."The number one goal is to be a sanctioning body that great racers and race teams want to participate in and are proud to be a part of."I think...
