IndyCar: Vautier penalized over crash with Rahal

IndyCar announced that Dale Coyne Racing's Tristan Vautier has been penalized for his collision with Graham Rahal in Sunday's ABC Supply 500 at Pocono. The incident, which eliminated both drivers, seriously damaged Rahal's title prospects and prompted a verbal tirade from the American. "Vautier...was penalized for violating Rule 9.3.3 (avoidable contact) of the Verizon IndyCar Series rulebook," the series noted in its regular Wednesday post-race penalty review.
