He may have only qualified 19th for this afternoon's race, but Luca Filippi put a smile on the faces of the CFH Racing team members with fastest time in morning practice at Detroit on Saturday. The Ed Carpenter/Sarah Fisher/Wink Hartman-owned team has suffered a torrid month at Indianapolis on both the road course and the Speedway, with a lot of promise shown and not much fulfilled. And yesterday Josef Newgarden added to the frustration with a hefty smack of the Turn 13 wall at Belle Isle.
