Power on record-setting pace for Detroit pole

A week on from finishing first and second in the 2015 Indianapolis 500, Team Penske carried their momentum through to an impressive performance at Detroit Belle Isle with all four cars successfully qualifying in the top five for the first race of this weekend's Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans. Having missed out on last week's win to one of his team mates by a slender margin, reigning Verizon IndyCar Series champion Will Power was emphatically redressing the balance and laying down the law on Friday with a new qualifying record of 1:16.0941s (111.178mph) on the 2.35-mile, 14-turn street circuit to claim his 39th IndyCar pole position by 0.0259s over Helio Castroneves....
