Montoya wins thrilling Indy 500

– Juan Pablo Montoya has won the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 in a back-and-forth battle with several cars, beating teammate Will Power by 0.1046 seconds.  Chip Ganassi Racing's Charlie Kimball finished third, several lengths back.Montoya's path to the biggest victory lane on the IndyCar schedule was far from simple, though, as he spent time earlier in the race in dead last.  But as one of only three 500-mile races on this year's calendar, there were still plenty of laps for the 2000 Indy 500 winner to make some moves.Fighting back, chipping away slowly on track and in the pits, Montoya soon found himself among the top cars which, for most of the race, included Scott Dixon,...
